As Little Legacies grows, I have the pleasure of taking long, thoughtful road trips from Colorado, across Nebraska, and into Iowa. It would be easy to meditate on the flickering pattern of the painted road markings, or busy myself with phone calls. Instead, I find it the perfect time to self-reflect, which I often times evade under the guise of busyness. The spaces between cities and towns are beautiful. Untouched and organically vibrant, the views are exquisite in all that they are not. Then I think that we, as humans, are the same. We define ourselves by what we are, but we are also lovely and complete in all that we are not. Moreover, we don’t have to be everything at all times to be enough.
What was something beautiful you discovered?
